Newsletter sponsorship packages brands can book in clicks

Turn your rate card into fixed-price packs. Choose the placements you sell, set your prices, bundle them together, and let brands book the exact package they want without a single negotiation email.

What are newsletter sponsorship packages?

Newsletter sponsorship packages are fixed-price advertising offers that define exactly what a sponsor gets, such as a dedicated email, a sponsored ad inside an issue or a banner ad, and what it costs. On LetterBid, newsletters create packs for individual placements and bundles that combine two or more placements for one price, and brands can book them directly from the newsletter's storefront or a campaign.

Clear packages fix the most common problem in newsletter sponsorships: nobody knows what is on offer. When a brand has to ask for rates, it has to wait, compare apples to oranges and negotiate scope before it can even decide. When a creator has to quote every lead from scratch, deals stall in the inbox.

With packages, the scope and price are agreed before anyone starts typing. Brands can book a pack as listed, or send a custom offer if they want something different. Either way, the brand pays only after you accept, and LetterBid holds the payment until the work is approved.

Build packages that sell themselves

Dedicated email: Your whole send is about one brand. Sponsors can request a preview before it goes out, with up to 2 rounds of changes, and it is approved automatically after 24 hours without a reply.

Sponsored ad: A native placement inside a regular issue, written in your newsletter's voice. Usually the format readers trust most and the easiest one for brands to try first.

Banner ad: A visual placement at the size you specify in your booking settings, so brands upload creative that fits your template the first time.

Bundles: Combine two or more placements into one bundle with its own name, description and price. Create up to 4 bundles to offer brands a step up from a single pack.

Live earnings calculator: As you set a price, the calculator shows what the brand pays and what you earn after LetterBid's 25% fee. Brands always pay the exact price shown, nothing added on top.

Show or hide anytime: Turn packs and bundles on or off without deleting them. Pause a dedicated email during a busy month and bring it back when you have room.

How to create sponsorship packages on LetterBid

1. Pick your placements: Decide which formats you sell: dedicated email, sponsored ad, banner ad, or all three. You only list what fits your newsletter.

2. Write the offer and set a price: Give each pack a short headline and a description of what the sponsor gets, then set a whole-dollar price of at least $50.

3. Add bundles: Group placements into bundles, for example a sponsored ad plus a banner, at a price that rewards brands for booking more.

4. Publish and get booked: Your packs appear on your storefront and in campaign matching. Brands pick a pack and date, you accept, they pay, and you publish knowing the money is secured.

Frequently asked questions

What should a newsletter sponsorship package include?

A clear placement type, a short headline, a description of what the sponsor gets and a fixed price. On LetterBid, that means a dedicated email, a sponsored ad or a banner ad, each with a headline, a description of up to 200 characters and a price of at least $50.

How should I price my sponsorship packages?

You set your own prices. Many creators anchor on audience size, open rate and niche, and price a dedicated email above an in-issue sponsored ad because it gives the brand the whole send. LetterBid's live calculator shows what you earn at each price, and brands can still send custom offers if they want to negotiate.

What is the difference between a pack and a bundle?

A pack is a single placement, such as one sponsored ad. A bundle combines two or more placement types into one offer with its own name and price. You can create up to 4 bundles alongside your individual packs.

How much do I earn from a package?

You earn 75% of the package price and LetterBid keeps 25%, with payment processing included in LetterBid's share. For a $400 sponsorship, you earn $300. The brand pays exactly $400, with nothing added on top.

Can brands ask for something that isn't in my packages?

Yes. A brand can send a custom offer with its own price. You can accept, decline or counter, and up to 3 counter offers can go back and forth before you agree.

Can brands book a package every month?

Yes, through a Recurring campaign. The brand books a monthly sponsorship with you at an agreed monthly price, and its saved card is charged about 7 days before each month's placement.

Why is one of my packs hidden from brands?

Packs and bundles priced below the $50 minimum are hidden from booking until you update the price. You can also hide any pack yourself by turning it off, without deleting it.
